COTY ENVELOPE COMPACT WITH FELT SEAL IN PLACE

Some vintage powder compacts were made with a felt insert fitted into the sides of the powder well and so they do not need a sifter to be used with loose foundation.

This felt forms a seal when the powder well lid is shut.

This is one such compact.

This compact is suitable for use as a stylish handbag mirror, for use with all loose foundation and also as a cherished display collectible.

The original pouch is well made, luxurious and lined with high quality soft wool felt.
