A beautiful mid-century compact with high quality lid which has the appearance of
mother of pearl inlay. The compact is in excellent condition. the sailing boat, sea, clouds and sea birds are all iridescent. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. The compact has an excellent mirror with a bevelled edge which gives an accurate reflection. The powder well lid, powder well and base are satinized which gives the compact a luxurious appearance.
This 1950s powder compact measures 7.3 cm and weighs 80 grams.
