A luxurious vintage Stratton "Royale" compact with an attractive lid in good condition. This vintage powder compact represents Stratton in their heyday.It is a quality compact from their luxury range. The Stratton "Royale" was only known to be available from 1957 - 1965.
A very beautiful compact with an enamel lid in good condition.
This gorgeous red enamel lid lifts to reveal an excellent bevelled mirror. The mirror is surrounded by a golden bezel which is marked "MADE IN ENGLAND". The inner lid is signed "Stratton" & decorated with the "Compact-in-Hand" logo. A mechanism patented by Stratton to prevent ladies nails from breaking.
The original pouch, signed puff & sifter are in place & like the rest of the compact they are in good condition. The enamel has a few surface scratches but nevertheless it is still a very attractive compact. The base is decorated with the Stratton famous all over star design.
The Stratton "Royale" considered to be an uncommon vanity. It measures 2 3/4" X 2 3/4" & weighs 110.5 grams.
