A superb fully hallmarked gold fob locket which is an ideal unisex gift, whether it is suspended from a fob chain or necklace. This antique keepsake fob locket was assayed* (tested for gold purity*) at Birmingham in 1907. The anterior surface is fitted with a locket compartment which is ornamented with a heart shaped cartouche framed by acanthus leaves and a single forget-me-not flower.
This keepsake pendant is suspended from a beautiful 18 inch 9 carat gold belcher chain necklace.
Acanthus leaves symbolise everlasting life.
Forget-me-not flowers represent the feelings of love and respect.
The locket is fitted with the original solid gold frame and clear portrait protector.
