Rare Vintage Solid Silver And Enamel Charm Bracelet 1960s
A vintage charm bracelet that is a unique piece. This is a traditional 1960s sterling silver curb bracelet with a reliable spring ring clasp. The charms are high quality vintage English sterling silver, Italian 800 silver, continental 800 & 835 silver. They are much more detailed than modern charms. The bracelet measures 19.5 cm / 7 1/2 inches. The curb height is 6 mm and it weighs 31.1 grams. This vintage charm bracelet is travel themed making it very collectible. We have looked at these charms through a jeweller's / jeweler's loupe and we can not see any loss of enamel / design.

An enchanting Italian 800 silver charm showing The Lion of St Mark. Above the lion 'VENEZIA' (Venice). The patron saint of Venice is St. Mark & this has been the coat of arms since medieval times. These are also part of the arms of several popes, who were archbishops of Venice.
Another enamel shield charm which was made in Germany. As well as the 800 silver mark it has a maker's mark (PL). The charm is decorated with white enamel with a beautiful enamel violin.
Since the mid-seventeenth century Mittenwald has been famous for the manufacture of violins, violas and cellos. Mittenwald has been a popular tourist destination since the 1930s.
