A stylish vintage Margaret Rose powder compact with a satinized lid, a marcasite (pyrite) basket of flowers set atop. All the marcastie (pyrite) stones are in place and the whole powder compact is in very good condition. The mirror gives a very good clear and accurate reflection. The edge of the mirror has a golden border. The original puff, sifter and power pan are included. They are in excellent condition. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The base is signed " Margaret Rose ENGLAND "
This mid-century vanity measures 2 3/4 " & weighs 68.22 grams.
