1960s Stratton Petite Enamel Compact Handbag Mirror Film Prop
An enchanting vintage Stratton Petite powder compact in super condition. This compact is suitable for loose foundation, as a handbag mirror or cherished collectible. A bouquet of dusky pink and golden roses graces the lid. The enamel is a joy to behold. There isn't any loss or fading.
This model of compact was described by the makers of the Stratton brand as:
Slim & dainty with a gilt fancy shaped edge.
All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The inner lid is signed Stratton. The mirror gives a clear and accurate reflection. The original pouch, sifter and puff are in place. Measures almost 2 5/8 inches wide. Weighs 62.6 grams.
There are some slight age related marks on the mirror but nothing which detracts.
This compact is suitable for use as a handbag mirror, as a cherished display collectible and also with all loose foundation.
