A gorgeous unused silver and gold plated Stratton makeup compact with a matching Lipview (lipstick holder / mirror).

This hard to find set is decorated with an elaborate gilt decoration atop a silver etched design that the makers named Linen.
The set and original case are in excellent condition. The mirrors give good clear reflections. The hinges and catches work perfectly. The compact is suitable for loose and pressed foundation powder, especially Rimmel Stay Matte and Max Factor Creme Puff. The original lipstick dummy tube, sifter and puff are included. Both items are signed Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND. A pristine pouch is included. The Queen Convertible measures 3 1/4 inches diameter and weighs 104.7 grams. The Lipview measures 2 1/2 inches long and weighs 22 grams. The malleable clip at the back of the Lipview will allow the installation of any size of lipstick.
