An excellent vintage Stratton Box Set in superb NOS (new old stock) condition with the original features. A beautiful set made in the 1970s that has never been used. An enamel " Queen Convertible " powder compact & matching enamel " Lipview " (lipstick holder with a built in mirror). It is signed " Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND REG. DESIGN 934048." The makers named this enamel decoration "Colourful China" and it is very pretty - high quality enamel with floral motifs and gilt accents. The Stratton brand is well known for reliability & also for the high quality of their enamel accessories too. This boxed Stratton set is so typical of the superior quality they are famed for. There is no loss of enamel on either item & they are just like the day they were made. Even the original presentation box is in superb condition which is quite rare. The box is signed " Stratton" & it is lined with pristine white faux silk & the outer box is luxurious card with gold diamond shaped details.

Both the compact and the lipstick holder have excellent mirrors. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. The original features are present - felt pouch, silk and foam puff & velour edged sifter - they are all in superb unused condition.

The " Queen Convertible " measures 3 1/2 " and weighs 101.7 grams.
The " Lipview " measures 2 1/2 " and weighs 19 .3 grams.
