A lovely boxed 1960s Stratton bird scene Convertible powder compact! The lid is decorated with pair of swans on an intense translucent blue background. There isn't any loss of design or fading. The original box, pouch, puff, sifter, instruction leaflet and padded paper insert are present.
The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The base is signed Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND. Measures 3 inches diameter. Weighs 100.4 grams.
This gleaming clean compact will not tarnish or need to be cleaned because the brass was gilded and lacquered by the maker.
This compact is ideal for use with all loose foundation and pressed foundation pans measuring 59 - 67mm diameter.
