A superb unused 22 karat vintage Stratton compact in original case. More pretty handbag mirrors. The compact is fully coated with high quality 22 ct gold. The lid has been engraved by hand and the bright-cut engraving is so beautiful. The photographs do not do the compact justice. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. The mirror is very good and gives an accurate reflection. The powder compact comes with the original faux suede clad case. The original pale fawn signed pouch, puff and sifter are present and they are pristine. The gold plated base of the compact is decorated with the 'Woven effect' and signed 'Stratton ENGLAND'. The compact measures 3" and weighs 104.6 grams.
