A 1950s Stratton Flying Ducks ' Scone ' loose powder compact which has not been used.
This delightful mid-century compact is adorned with cobalt blue enamel and the familiar sight of four mallard ducks flying over a reed bed. The compact is in excellent condition with no losses or fading. The mirror gives a good clear reflection. The original mirror sticker and the original sifter are in place. The base and whole vanity have the most gorgeous gold patina. This accessory will never tarnish or need to be cleaned as the makers applied a layer of lacquer during the crafting process. The catches and hinges work perfectly. Measures 3 inches diameter and weighs 88.9 grams. A pristine pouch is included with this order.
