This enchanting vanity is suitable for all loose face powder and also standard size powder pans, for example: Max Factor Creme Puff, Rimmel Stay Matte, CCUK and Miss Beauty compressed powder. The whole piece is in super condition, as are the original presentation box, pouch, signed puff and sifter. The lustrous enamel lid is as vibrant as the day it was created. There isn't any loss of design or enamel. This model was named by the makers of the Stratton brand the '10-Sided Convertible' and it was only known to be available in the 1960s for a period of seven years. All the brass was lacquered during the manufacturing process and so it will not tarnish or need to be cleaned. The excellent mirror is surrounded by an octagonal gilt frame which is signed 'STRATTON MADE IN ENGLAND PAT. 764125'. The powder well is coated with matte white enamel. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. The base is signed 'Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND.' Measures 3 1/4" and weighs 91.6 grams.
