A gorgeous & complete sterling silver Kigu 'Oxford' powder compact in the finest condition. This compact is gleaming clean & very beautiful. The sterling silver is protected with a coat of transparent enamel which means it will never tarnish or need to be cleaned. The compact comes complete with the original pouch, puff & sifter. None of which show any sign of use. The lid is exquisite - a delightful engine turned design with a border decorated with intricate scroll work. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The bevelled mirror is excellent & gives a perfect reflection. The inner lid is signed "KIGU OF LONDON" & it is decorated with an attractive honey comb design. The compact is fully hallmarked London Assay Office 1964. Measures 2 3/4" X 2 3/4" & weighs 115.6 grams.
