This adorable vanity has the most exquisite depiction of Dog-roses and forget-me-nots. Such romantic imagery! This piece has hand chased borders and sloping shoulders. A supremely stylish accessory! There isn't any loss of design or enamel. There does not appear to be any powder residue and the sifter is clean and unused. The mirror gives an excellent clear reflection. The powder well has the most beautiful gilded finish and a full set of hallmarks. The base is excellent - an engine turned design of tiny, precise and attractive diamond shapes. All catches and hinges work perfectly. This dainty antique powder compact is slim enough to fit in a purse. The good quality pouch has protected it well. This purse mirror is suitable for loose face powder or as an impressive portable mirror. Measures 2 1/2 inches x just over 2 1/2 inches and weighs 77.2 grams.
