Mercedes Accessories Vintage Kigu Mercedes Powder Compact
This is not a Kigu compact that you will see often. It was especially made for Mercedes in the 1960s. This Kigu 'Convertible' compact has guilloche designs on the lid & base. The central cartouche bears the Mercedes logo. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The mirror is excellent & gives a good reflection. The mirror bezel is signed 'KIGU MADE IN ENGLAND'. The mirror bezel & powder well walls are gilded which gives an attractive contrast to the dark silver tone exterior. This compact comes with a puff ready to use. The whole compact is in excellent condition. This Kigu powder compact measures 3" & weighs 71.3 grams.
This vintage powder compact is suitable for use with modern solid / pressed face powder or as a handbag mirror.
