A delightful mid-century Mascot compact mirror which is crafted to resemble a stylish 1950s handbag.

The whole compact is fashioned from gilded lacquered brass which will retain its pleasing appearance without ever needing to be cleaned. The front and back are decorated with engine turned designs. The ornate handle is also a clasp. The interior case contains a mirror which gives a good and accurate reflection. The inner lid is signed Mascot ASB. A sifter and pouch are present. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. Measures 7.5 cm x 6.5 cm. Weighs 76.7 grams.
