A hard to find gold plated vintage Stratton powder compact with a striking zig zag pattern. This compact mirror was crafted by the premier maker in the 1970s. The original pouch is present. The compact and pouch are in very good condition. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The catches and hinges work perfectly. The base is signed Stratton England. The compact is clean and free from any powder residue. Measures 3 1/4 inches diameter. Weighs 104 grams.
This Stratton Slim-Convertible compact is suitable as a handbag mirror and also for use with all loose foundation and pressed foundation pans measuring 59-67 mm diameter.
