The compact is decorated with a pleasing gilt finish throughout which will prevent it from tarnishing. The exacting standards of the maker means that this accessory will not require any cleaning. The lid is embellished with a textured design and a diamond cut star motif. The mirror is bevelled and gives an excellent clear reflection. The powder well is protected with the original coat of white enamel. The original features - box, semi-rigid felt lined pouch, signed puff and sifter are present. All catches and hinges work perfectly. The base is decorated with circular bands of smooth tone golden stars. Measures 3 1/4 inches diameter. Weighs 99.6 grams.
