Such an enchanting vintage compact mirror which was made for Boots the Chemist Ltd. by A. S. Brown & Co. (Manufacturing) Ltd., who were the owners of the Mascot brand.
The lid is decorated with whimsical stars.
The original acetate cover has done a really good job of protecting this lovely design.
The makers gilded and lacquered this mirror compact and so it will not tarnish or need to be cleaned.
The compact is presented with the original wool felt pouch and also an immaculate powder puff.
All clasps & hinges work perfectly.
The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection.
The compact is fitted with the original instruction leaflet which is signed Boots.
Measures 7 cm diameter. Weighs 63.1 grams.
