A lovely cased vintage Stratton vanity set which was crafted by the premier British maker in the 1950s.
The gilded brass Stratton Princess compact and lipstick holder are presented in the original case with the powder puff, sifter, leaflet and felt pouches.
The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection.
The compact and lipstick case are signed Stratton.
All clasps and hinges work perfectly.
The lipstick holder and inner lid of the compact are embellished with matching linear designs.
The base of the compact is adorned with smooth stars on a textured background.
The compact measures 7.3 cm diameter and weighs 84.9 grams.
The lipstick holder measures 5.4 cm long.
The internal diameter of the lipstick holder cap measures 14 mm. Weighs 11.6 grams.
