This is a beautiful Stratton 'Slim Convertible' powder compact made in the 1960s. The lid has high quality enamel decorated with pale blue & green flowers & foliage. There isn't any loss of design & the compact is in excellent condition. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The mirror is excellent & gives a good clear reflection. The mirror bezel is signed 'STRATTON MADE IN ENGLAND'. The original protective white waxed paper insert is in place & so too is the sifter. The base has the all over star design.This vintage powder compact measures 3 1/4" & weighs 103.8 grams.
