Coty vintage powder compact book piece compact
A beautiful gold tone Coty 'French Flair' powder compact -as seen in Laura M Mueller's Collector's Encyclopedia of Compacts, Carryalls & Face Powder Boxes. Ribbed lid design with Coty crest. The compact has a full unused powder pan of Coty "Carnival Glow" and a gorgeous silk and fabric puff which is signed "Coty" in gilt lettering. The compact is in very good condition. The mirror is very good and shows a clear, accurate reflection. The mirror has a gilt border. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The base is decorated with a coarse spiral engine turned design. The original sticker is on the base. It is shiny gold foil and in black print it reads as follows "CARNIVAL GLOW COTY 093R PRESS HERE TO REMOVE 19G".
This vintage Coty compact measures 67 mm & weighs 84.3 grams.
