The original sifter is in place and so this 'Queen Convertible' compact can also be used with loose face powder. The set is adorned with enamel which looks like tortoise shell. On images one and three the top of the vanity case is reflecting on the lid. The matching 'Lipview' (lipstick holder/mirror) will hold any standard size lipstick. The set does not have any traces of powder / lipstick and it does not look used. A layer of lacquer applied by the makers to all surfaces, ensures that not only will it never need to be cleaned but also it will remain tarnish free. Both items feature diamond cut gilt floral motifs. Both mirrors have give excellent clear reflections. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. The original dummy tube, puff and sifter are in place. The set was made in the 1970s and it comes in the original presentation case which is in super condition. The exterior of the hard case is cream with a gilt brass finish. The interior case is lined with clean cream coloured satin which is signed 'Stratton England'. Both items are signed 'Stratton'. The compact measures 3 1/4" and weighs 100.5 grams. The 'Lipview' measures 2 1/2" and weighs 22.3 grams.
