A rare & stylish vintage Duplique compact & lipstick / powder compact duo in excellent condition.
The front case is beautiful with a central cartouche. An elegant Diplique compact & working lipstick with the original unused puff & sifter in place. The puff is signed " The Duplique Compact."
It is in excellent working order with a perfect mirror. The mirror bezel is marked " MADE IN ENGLAND." Above the lipstick compartment the compact is singed " THE ' DUPLIQUE ' REDG. T.M."
Below the lipstick it is marked " PATENT PENDING." The lipstick is a beautiful coral pink & the twist up mechanism works perfectly. The lipstick cover has an attractive ribbed design.The inner lid is decorated by attractive parallel lines & the lid snaps shut firmly.
Measures approximately 4 " X 3" & weighs 186.5 grams.
