Unused Antique L T Piver Powder Box

So wonderful to have this in this condition. Made by Perfumerie L T Piver in the 1900s this wonderful antique powder box is in the most gorgeous factory fresh condition. It has never been opened or used and comes with the original tissue paper. The lid is decorated with the image of Pompeia (the wife of Emperor Julius Ceasar). There is she is in profile holding fabric in both hands which is full of beautiful flowers. Above her in white letters 'POUDRE POMPEIA' & below the signature 'L.T.PIVER PARIS IMPRIME EN FRANCE'. The gilt foliage & borders contrasting so beautifully with the green & red. The whole piece is exactly as it would have been back in the day. The base bears the stamp
'C.S.N.P. GRANTIE d'ORIGINE', the original sticker showing what shade of powder this is 'CUIVRE ROSE' & these numbers '206898'. The lid pulls off & the powder box is still sealed. The gilded powder cover signed 'L. T. PIVER PARIS' & full of very pale pink face powder. Even the protective tissue paper is undamaged.

This adorable powder box measures almost 3" & weighs 96.2 grams.
