Sterling silver cigarette case Chester assayed silver 1920
This case is large enough for all modern cigarettes and business cards.
The images of the cigarette case really do not do it justice. It is divine! Please excuse the light shining on the case. The beautiful chequered engine turned design is superb and there isn't any loss of design. The lid and base are fully hallmarked and it was assayed at Chester in 1920. There aren't any initials or inscriptions on the case. This is a superbly made piece with a concealed spring loaded thumb catch. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. The vermeil interior is beautiful and the elastic strap still in place. The whole item is in excellent condition and will make an excellent silver wedding gift. This is such an elegant piece that it is ideal for either ladies or gentlemen.
