An exquisitely beautiful solid silver Czechoslovakian powder compact in excellent condition. Such an elegant powder compact it would make an ideal present or silver wedding gift / 25th anniversary gift. The lid is decorated with complex guilloche engraving & bright-cut scroll work which shimmer in the light. It is fully hallmarked .835 silver on the lid & base. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The bevelled mirror is good & gives an accurate reflection - some tiny age spots on the mirror which in no way spoil the enjoyment of this high quality vanity. The interior is also delightfully pretty with engravings surrounding the mirror & powder well. The base is decorated with beautiful guilloche engraving. Both the lid & base have embossed scroll work on the edges.
This solid silver compact measures 31/2" & it weighs 106.7 grams.
