A gorgeous vintage gold mesh bag. This 1940s Whiting & Davis bridal clutch has a rhinestone set clasp. So gorgeous! All the rhinestones are present. They are faceted & look fabulous! This purse is large enough to be an eye-catching evening bag. The whole bag is in very good condition & without any damage. The twisted rope handle is the perfect finishing touch to make this an ideal vintage accessory whether it is for a special evening out or as that special 'something old' gift. The lining is in good condition - very clean & without tears. The Whiting & Davis label is still in place sewn into the lining. The Whiting & Davis stamp on both sides of the frame clearly visible. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. A lovely clean vintage accessory that would enhance any outfit.
This mesh bag measures just over 5" wide x 41/4" from the bottom to the clasp, not including the chain . The twisted rope chain handle measures 4" tall.
