The music box has a lid adorned with high quality iridescent mother of pearl & abalone. Turn the key to hear the tune play. It sounds like tinkling bird song. A sound little music box & the music plays well. The mirror gives an excellent clear reflection.
The inner lid is signed Clover in elegant script. The pink puff also bears the signature with the registered Clover logo /trademark in gilt. The white card edged sifter is clean and does not have any traces of powder on it. The brass is a deep rich gold. The interior & base have attractive satinized finishes, which enhances the luxurious appearance of this 1950s vanity. All clasps & hinges work perfectly.
