The ornate lid decoration is gold plated and the whole item is in superb condition. This unused 1970s Stratton 'Mini-Convertible' compact comes with all the original features - presentation box, felt pouch, puff, sifter, instruction leaflet and inspection docket. The side of the box has the original product label which reads - 'Mini Conv. Comp. 351/751'. The mirror gives a good reflection. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. This compact is suitable for all loose face powder and standard sizes of compressed face powder such as Rimmel 'Stay Matte', Max Factor 'Creme Puff', CCUK and Miss Beauty. Measures 3" and weighs 59.4 grams.
