A gorgeous refillable compact case made in the late 1950s.
This vanity is in very good condition.
The lid decoration is beautiful and unusual - a gilt metallic design of intersecting circles.
The brass of this vanity has acquired a deep golden patina and the whole item will not need to be cleaned as it is so well made.
The interior case is fitted with an excellent framed mirror which gives an accurate reflection.
The base has a bold engraved spiral design.
This compact is presented with a pristine unused pink powder puff and black felt pouch.
Measures just over 2 3/4 inches diameter. Weighs 57.1 grams.
This compact mirror is ideal for use as a handbag mirror or with all pressed foundation pans measuring 67mm diameter or less.
