A stylish 1980s Stratton mirror compact which is decorated with white enamel embellished with subtle purple, brown and green floral motifs.
This lovely Stratton brand powder compact is presented with the original pouch, puff, inspection docket, instruction leaflet and sifter. All in good condition. The makers lacquered this handbag mirror and so it will not tarnish or need to be cleaned. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The hinges and catches work perfectly. The powder well is protected with original white insert. The powder well interior is stamped with the patent number 764125 which refers to the inner annular ring patented by Harry Abe Laughton who one of the owners of the Stratton brand.
Measures 8.5 cm diameter. Weighs 101.3 grams.
