Princess Diana Memorabilia Royal Themed Powder Compact
A limited edition royalty themed Stratton 'Mini-Convertible' powder compact with just one year of production - 1981. Made especially to commemorate the wedding of HRH Prince Charles & Lady Diana Spencer. The royal blue lid is embellished with gilt lettering which reads: H.R.H. THE PRINCE CHARLES. LADY DIANA SPENCER. THE ROYAL WEDDING JULY 1981. The gilt heraldic badge of the Prince of Wales (three ostrich feathers emerging from a gold coronet) is depicted in the middle of the lid. Below which is the motto Ich dien ("I serve"). The compact is in very good condition & comes complete with the original unused puff, washable sifter and pouch. The mirror is excellent. The powder well contains two protective waxed paper inserts. The right hand side of the image one is showing the reflection of the camera. Measures 3 inches diameter. Weighs 78 grams.
