Compact Mirror And Lipstick Holder Unused 1960s Stratton Set
A gorgeous high quality matte grey enamel compact mirror and lipstick holder set. This unused Stratton Set was made in the 1960s. It comes with the original features - presentation box, pouch, luxury silk topped puff, velour edged sifter, instruction leaflet, lipstick dummy tube and padded insert. The 'Convertible' compact is suitable for all loose face powder and all standard sizes of compressed powder. For example: Max Factor Creme Puff, CCUK, Miss Beauty and Rimmel Stay Matte. The 'Lipview' (lipstick holder & mirror) will hold any size of lipstick tube. There isn't any enamel loss / loss of design on either item. Both items were lacquered during production and so they will retain the gleaming gold appearance and never need to be cleaned. Both mirrors give excellent clear reflections. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. The presentation box is also in good condition. The interior lid is signed 'Stratton' in gilt lettering. The base is lined with clean white satin. The exterior box is white with a golden linear pattern. The compact measures 3" and weighs 92.2 grams. The 'Lipview' measures 2 1/2" and weighs 18.7 grams.
