Antique Fully Hallmarked Ornately Engraved Solid Gold Locket Necklace
A stunning ensemble in vibrant fully hallmarked yellow gold. This high quality solid gold locket was assayed* (tested for gold purity) at Chester Assay Office in 1920. Ornate engravings grace the outer case. Acanthus leaves and a single forget-me-not convey the most meaningful message. Acanthus leaves represent the desire for everlasting life which is so fitting for a mourning locket. Forget-me-nots symbolise true love and respect.

The dense sumptuous gold of the edges is what the whole locket looks like. The slightly convex contruction of the locket is causing the light to bounce off the locket and create images which are lighter in shade.
The interior case is fitted with the original frames and pale green moire linings and so photographs or locks of hair will be easy to attach.
The right handside is also fitted with a clear portrait protector.
The catch and hinge work perfectly.
