Vintage boxed Kigu compact set vanity set unused compact mirrors for sale
A beautiful unused enamel 1960s Kigu vanity set in the original box. The compact and lipstick holder / mirror are decorated with lustrous enamel which demonstrates why Kigu vanities are so collectible today. There isn't any loss of design or enamel loss. The accessories are gilt and coated with a layer of transparent enamel which means they have will never tarnish or need to be cleaned. They are in superb condition.
The convertible compact still has the original felt lined pouch, puff, sifter and instruction leaflet. The mirror bezel is signed 'KIGU MADE IN ENGLAND'. The base has pleasing gilt guilloche design typical of Kigu's goldsmith's tradition.
The lipstick holder / mirror has a good mirror which gives an accurate reflection. It is signed 'KIGU MADE IN ENGLAND'. The handle / lipstick holder has an attractive engine turned design.
Please note that this set has the most gorgeous royal blue enamel but the images look purple. Thank you.
