The lid has gorgeous pale green enamel which also looks gold and it is splendid. The enamel is intriguing as it is hard to say whether it is gold or green. There isn't any loss of enamel. In the middle is a gilt diamond cut design of a many flower with many petals. The interior all gilt jeweller's / jeweler's finish & signed 'KIGU' within the registered triangular trademark & the word 'Concerto' inscribed too. Turn the key clockwise & the adorable tune plays really well. Just delightful! The little musical powder box comes with the original sifter. The whole musical powder box is in excellent condition, including the beveled mirror which gives a good & accurate reflection. The edges are scalloped & the base is signed 'KIGU MADE IN ENGLAND'. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. Measures 31/4" & weighs 115.4 grams.
