A wonderful unused vintage silver plated Stratton brand compact mirror and lipstick holder set which was crafted by the premier maker in the 1970s.
More highly collectible vanities.
There isn't any loss of design or discolouring of the silver plate. Both of the mirrors give good and accurate reflections.
The original mirror sticker is in place. It reads as follows -
SILVER PLATED LID & BASE
The Stratton Queen Convertible compact is fitted with the original puff, sifter, inspection docket and black felt pouch. The base of the compact is signed Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND. Measures 31/4 inches diameter. Weighs 104.1 grams.
This compact is ideal for use with all loose foundation and pressed foundation pans measuring 59 - 67mm diameter.

The Lipview (lipstick holder / mirror) is just as adorable as the compact. The original Stratton Dummy tube is in place. The clip fitted at the back of the Lipview is malleable and so it will hold any width of lipstick.

The original presentation case is also in excellent condition. The outer case is clad in cream faux leather. The interior is lined with splendid royal blue satin.
