Vintage Kigu Concerto Working Music Box Teal Blue Enamel 70s
A delightfully pretty Kigu Concerto which was made in the 1970s. The satinized teal blue enamel lid has the most gorgeous marcasite (pyrite) ornament set atop. The whole musical powder box is in excellent condition. The mirror gives an accurate and good reflection. The compact is decorated with the famed Kigu all gilt jeweller's finish and so it will not tarnish or need to be cleaned.

The interior case is signed KIGU. The inner lid is decorated with the triangular trademark. Just above the winding key the word Concerto can be seen within an oblong cartouche. The tune plays very well. The original sifter is in place. The base is signed KIGU MADE IN ENGLAND. Measures 3 1/4 inches wide. Weighs 124.5 grams. An immaculate velvet pouch is included.
