This unused mother of pearl set would make an ideal pearl / 30th anniversary gift. The Stratton '10-Sided Convertible' compact is suitable for loose and compressed face powder. Compressed pans measuring 59 - 67 mm diameter will fit. Splendid mother of pearl adorns both items. The original features are included - presentation case, puff, sifter and instruction leaflets. The mirror gives a good & accurate reflection. The original coat of pristine white enamel can be seen in the powder well. The hinge and catch work perfectly. The base is signed 'Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND'. Measures 3 1/4" and weighs 90.4 grams. The delightful lipstick holder is signed 'Stratton No3 MADE IN ENGLAND'. Measures 2 1/4" and weighs 17.6 grams. The presentation case is also in good condition. The interior case is lined with white satin which bears the Stratton signature in gilt lettering. The interior base has custom made recesses covered with beautiful royal blue velvet.
