A stunning unused gold plated vintage Stratton makeup compact which is ideal for use with Rimmel pressed foundation and also all loose foundation. The whole compact is a lovely deep rich gold colour. The lid is embellished with golden leaves. The base is signed Stratton England. The interior case is fitted with a good clear mirror and the original unused puff, sifter, instruction leaflet and inspection docket. The catch and hinge work perfectly. The maker lacquered this accessory and so it will not tarnish or require any cleaning.
The Rimmel brands Natural Bronzer, Stay Matte and Kind & Free and all standard sizes of pressed foundation are suitable for this compact.
Max Factor Creme Puff, Constance Carroll and Miss Beauty brands also fit.
No7 Perfect Light Loose Powder and all loose foundation can be used in this accessory.
This compact was made in the 1990s. It is in excellent unused condition.
An immaculate pouch is included.
